Ingredients for the Easy Cup Cake

Why Milo  can be used to make Easy cup cakes ?

Milo is made with four main Ingredients . Malt barley, Cocoa powder , Sugar and Milk Powder.
During this pandemic times there were Restrictions on Moving about and even grocery supplies were limited. I decided to bake with Milo and even tried a few at hand ingredients.I realised after a few successful trials It’s easy to cook and bake with Milo.
Milo has added sugar too , so just incase you like a dark chocolate , you could substitute and make a few adjustments to make cake with the desired sweetness.

What are the Ingredients needed and their substitutes to make the Air Fryer Easy Cup Cake ?

  • Milo – This is a Delicious  Chocolatey malt drink . Mainly made for growing children  as growth nutrition drink . As a child i have had Milo and love it till date. Nestle is the company that makes Milo.

  • All Purpose Flour- This is one ingredient that most of us have in our pantries. Its easy to store and can be used in a variety of dishes.

  • Sugar- I have used a teaspoon of sugar in this easy cup cake recipe. This is a totally optional . Just in case you like a dark cup cake skip this completely. I would not recommend to increase the sugar as the main ingredient Milo has sugar in it.

  • Egg – Egg is used in this particular recipe , because we are a family of mixed eaters and most of us do eat egg. In case there is an aversion or allergy to egg , you can use Apple sauce, flax seed powder, Mashed ripe bananas instead too.

  • Oil– To add the extra moistness to this Easy Cup cake , i have used a neutral oil like canola in this recipe. Unsalted butter also works perfectly well.

  • Water – Since milk is already present as Milk powder in Milo , I prefer to add just a little bit of water to make the Cup cake batter easy to pour.

  • Utensils need – a large or medium Mixing bowl, whisk, Two ramekins buttered and lined with parchment paper. air fryer.
