- Chicken tenders- these are the tenderloin , behind the Chicken breast extremely soft . they cook very fast. Do not overcook.
- Salt (Himalayan pink)- The ubiquitous seasoning for all foods. Himalayan pink salt has a reputation of being the healthier salt.
- lime juice– Tenderiser and imparts flavour.You can very well use a freshly squeezed lime/lemon or even the lime juice bottle stacked away in your pantry works well.
- Garlic powder–Fresh garlic can be used . I have used garlic powder. Its derived from dehydrated garlic ,flavours are more intense , a little goes a long way.
- Onion powder-A seasoning you can not do without. Since we need only the flavour and not bits of onion , in the recipe , i used the powdered version here
- Thyme-dried thyme to add a hint of smoky , nutty flavour.
- Sweet paprika (adds colour)- To add a little colour to the chicken tenders. You can also use Cayenne pepper or leave this one altogether.
- Olive oil -Just to add a hint of flavour and to get glistening Chicken Tenders.

The marinated Chicken tenders need to be set aside for at least ½ hour in the refrigerator. If you like to freeze the tenders , you can freeze them for upto a week.
